1. Service and contracting party
Squadaroa helps sports clubs and their authorized users organize their activities. The operator and contracting party for platform access is Bernhard Krenn, Wiener Neustadt, Austria, who can be contacted at [email protected]. This version applies to the website and the app.
Use is currently free of charge and without advertising. These terms do not create any obligation to pay. Any future paid service requires a separate agreement; merely changing this page does not result in charges.
2. Access and responsible use
Use only the account assigned to you and the functions made available to you. Protect your sign-in details. You must not post unlawful, discriminatory or harassing content, or circumvent other people's accounts or access permissions.
Each club decides how its member data is used and what permissions its users have. A technical role in Squadaroa does not, by itself, confer legal authority to represent anyone. Anyone acting for other people or a club needs the appropriate authorization. If your consent requires a legal representative, that representative must be involved; if anything is unclear, contact support before consenting.
3. Your content and permission to use it
Copyright and other rights to uploaded logos, photos, texts and documents remain with their respective holders. Ownership and copyright are not transferred to Bernhard Krenn.
For content you provide yourself and for which you have the necessary rights or permissions, you grant Bernhard Krenn a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to use it. This covers only the storage, copying, transmission and display needed for the agreed operation of Squadaroa, as well as technical adjustments such as resizing, compression and thumbnails. Content is displayed in accordance with the permissions assigned in Squadaroa. From the time you consent, this permission also covers content you have already provided; it does not assert retroactive consent to earlier uses.
Technical service providers may process the content only to the extent necessary to provide, deliver and back up the platform. Because of its technical accessibility and the services involved, the permission has no geographical limitation. The privacy notice describes the services used and the data transfers.
Public display is covered only where the separate approvals required for it have been given. This does not make private profile pictures available for public club pages. Advertising using your content, selling it independently to third parties, or using it to train AI models is not covered by this permission.
You may provide only content whose use is permitted to this extent. For other people's photos, club logos and documents, you may need permission from the rights holders. The rights of people shown in images, any required consents and the special protection of children must also be respected. These terms do not replace such permissions.
4. Separate confirmation for club content
A legally authorized club representative may additionally confirm on the consent page, for the club expressly named there, that the club holds the necessary rights to the content it provides or has the appropriate permissions, and may grant Bernhard Krenn permission under section 3 to use that content. This separate declaration covers existing club content from the time of confirmation and content the club provides later. Other users' private content is covered only to the extent that the club actually has the necessary authorization for it.
A user's personal consent is not such a club declaration. Confirmation must not be given if the authority to represent the club or the necessary rights are lacking. If rights to content are unclear, contact support so that authorization can be clarified or the affected content removed.
5. Removal, ending use and reports
The permission applies for as long as, and to the extent that, the content is needed for the use of Squadaroa initiated by you or the authorized club. Active use ends once removal has taken effect. Content may remain in technically necessary backups until they are routinely overwritten; it must not be used from those backups for new purposes. Any retention required by law remains limited to its respective purpose.
You can stop using the service and request deletion through Delete account. For shared club data, the respective rights and any specific retention obligations will be reviewed. Further details are in the privacy notice.
Report unlawful content or missing rights to [email protected], identifying its location as precisely as possible. Bernhard Krenn reviews reports and, where there are reasonable grounds for suspicion, may temporarily block affected content or accounts to protect those involved and remove them if necessary. These terms do not limit mandatory statutory rights or claims.
6. Consent and records
This version is accepted by giving explicit consent, not merely by opening the page or continuing to use the service. Consent is recorded for each user and version, together with the user identifier, time and checksum of the agreed text. For a separate club declaration, the club and the identifier of the user making the declaration are also recorded. No additional IP addresses or browser identifiers are stored for this purpose.
You can view your confirmation under Terms of use and consent. The agreed version remains available through its version link and can be printed or saved. Changes to the content require new explicit consent; an existing confirmation is not transferred to a changed text.
